I am a registered psychologist with a Masters in Counselling Psychology. I provide counselling and psychotherapy for a broad range of issues with a particular focus in the areas of addiction, relationship issues, personality difficulties, trauma, mood and anxiety disorders and group therapy.
How I work
My approach to therapy is primarily interpersonal in nature and is strongly influenced by attachment theory and a broad range of mindfulness based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. Whilst this therapeutic approach will allow for the alleviation of painful symptoms, the primary function will be to greatly enhance life satisfaction by helping clients to engage more wholeheartedly in a life that is characterised by a strong sense of meaning and vibrancy.
